Disclosure: Horizon Labs is made by the author of this site. It is judged below by the same criteria as every other app, and each profile cites the product’s own page.
Forza Horizon 6 has no built-in telemetry HUD, but it sends live data out through its Data Out setting, and a handful of apps turn that stream into a dashboard. The right one depends on where you want it: over the game on your PC, on a second monitor, on a tablet, or on stream. Here are the options with an official page, from free to paid.
The short version
- One app for FH6 and other games, with a HUD editor and stream support: Horizon Labs.
- Free, FH6 only, with tune viewing and clips: Wisp.
- Drag racing timer and tuning calculator, FH6 only: Kanjo Telemetry.
- Forza-only dashboard with phone and tablet screens: 4Sim Telemetry.
- Hardware, wheel displays and 100+ games: SimHub.
- iPhone or iPad as the dash: Apex Copilot or Apex Dash FH & FM.
- Touch panels on a tablet or iCUE device: GameGlass.
How the apps were judged
The criteria are the ones used on the comparison pages: price, games supported, overlay, editor, streaming and platform. Every fact comes from the product’s own store, site or repository page, checked on 2 November 2026. Where a page does not say, the table says “Not stated”. Nothing here was benchmarked, so there are no performance claims.
All of them read the same source: the telemetry Forza Horizon sends over UDP when Data Out is on. If an app shows nothing, the cause is almost always the IP or port, not the app. The FH6 Data Out settings guide covers both.

Horizon Labs
Horizon Labs is a Windows 10 and 11 app that draws a live telemetry HUD over racing games, including Forza Horizon 6. It is sold on Gumroad as pay what you want from €4.99, one-time, with lifetime updates. This is the author’s own product, so read the claims against the others’ pages.
- Games: 36, from Forza Horizon and Motorsport to F1, iRacing, Le Mans Ultimate and Gran Turismo. See the games list.
- Overlay: in-game, plus LAN mode that shows the HUD on another PC, a tablet or a phone. Console games that export telemetry, such as Forza on Xbox, F1 on PlayStation or Xbox and Gran Turismo, send it to the PC.
- Editor: the Horizon Labs Designer builds a HUD from scratch or from 104 templates and binds 80 telemetry fields. See the Designer.
- Streaming: a browser source for OBS, Streamlabs, Meld Studio and TikTok LIVE Studio.
- Standout for Forza Horizon: Tune Architect, a tuning tool, in the same app, plus a drift angle HUD.
It only reads the telemetry the game sends out. See the overlay page for details.
Wisp
Wisp is a free Windows app built for Forza Horizon 6 alone, on both the Steam and the Xbox app or Microsoft Store editions. Its page licenses official, unmodified builds for personal, non-commercial use, and links Ko-fi and Buy Me a Coffee for donations.
- HUD: analogue or digital gauges for speed, RPM, gear, power, torque, boost, tyre temperatures and G-force, plus a drift angle gauge. You can run it over the game or on another monitor.
- Standout: a tune viewer that, per its developer, can read tunes the game locks, and save a copy for comparison. It also records gameplay clips (30 seconds to five minutes, up to 4K60) and has a lap review, a lap delta and a live map, with lap delta and map marked beta.
- Notes from its page: the installer is not code-signed, so Windows may show an unknown publisher. Streaming is not mentioned.
Compare the two in Horizon Labs vs Wisp.
Kanjo Telemetry
Kanjo Telemetry is a Windows dashboard for Forza Horizon 6, sold on Steam for €9.99. It needs Windows 10 64-bit or Windows 11 and runs on the same PC or on another machine on your network.
- Widgets: 16, including speed, RPM, gear, pedals, boost, fuel, shift lights, tyre slip and a tyre heatmap.
- Standout: a drag timer that detects launches and records reaction time, 60 ft, eighth and quarter-mile splits and trap speed, plus a records board and a timeslip image. A tuning calculator covers ten disciplines.
- Also: session recording to a file for replay, a speed trap, a dyno and a friction circle plot.
Its page says all data stays on your machine. Streaming is not mentioned. See Horizon Labs vs Kanjo Telemetry.
4Sim Telemetry
4Sim Telemetry is a Windows app on itch.io, pay what you want from €1. Full support covers Forza Horizon 4, 5 and 6. BeamNG.drive and F1 2020 to F1 25 are listed as partial, with advanced telemetry still in development.
- Overlay: a transparent, click-through overlay in the game; Ctrl+Shift+E switches on editing.
- Editor: draggable, resizable and rotatable widgets, custom textures, and presets you can bind to Forza car IDs so they load by themselves.
- Standout: phone and tablet displays over your local network, plus 0-100 km/h, 0-60 mph and quarter-mile timing.
Its listing says no capture card or streaming software is needed, but gives no detail on browser-source use. Read Horizon Labs vs 4Sim Telemetry.
SimHub
SimHub is a large sim-racing hub for dashboards, overlays, hardware such as shakers and LEDs, and motion. Its supported games page lists Forza Horizon 6 for PC and consoles. The homepage says “100+” games.
- Price: a free version; the licence is pay what you want from €8. Motion needs a separate licence.
- Editor: Dash Studio, with community dashboards.
- Platform: Windows 11 x64; Windows 10 is listed as untested.
- Standout: hardware support and the size of its community library.
The pages checked do not say how its overlays are used on stream. See Horizon Labs vs SimHub.
Apex Copilot (iPhone and iPad)
Apex Copilot: Telemetry HUD is a free app for iPhone and iPad. It reads the Data Out feed from Forza Horizon 4, 5 and 6, and its built-in world map and official-race catalog are tuned for FH6. Its App Store listing also shows macOS and visionOS availability, but notes it is not verified for macOS.
- HUD: a tachometer, gear and speed readouts, input bars, a G-force display and a best-lap delta.
- Dashboard: 18 modules you arrange yourself.
- Standout: a track map coloured by speed or by time gained and lost, lap replays, two-car ghost races and an oscilloscope. A demo mode works without a console.
It is described as an unofficial companion app. It cannot draw over the game, since it runs on the Apple device. For that setup, read the second-screen dashboard guide.
Apex Dash FH & FM (iPhone and iPad)
Apex Dash FH & FM is a separate iPhone and iPad app from another developer. It is free, with an “Unlock All Dashboards” purchase at $8.99. Its listing says it is compatible with Forza Horizon and Forza Motorsport and does not name Forza Horizon 6, so check it with your own setup before paying.
- Setup: your iPhone or iPad and your Xbox or PC sit on the same Wi-Fi, you turn on telemetry output in the game, and no account is needed.
- Dashboards: several styles from minimal to advanced, with customisable RPM lights and units.
- Requires: iPadOS 26.0 or later.
GameGlass
GameGlass is a different kind of tool: touch control panels for games, with switches, sliders and dials on a tablet, phone or iCUE device, run from a desktop component called the GameGlass Hub. It has a drag-and-drop panel editor.
- Price: a free Basic tier with two panels in your library. PRO is $4.95 a month, $49.90 a year or $229 once, and includes telemetry and gauges. New users get 14 days of PRO.
- Forza Horizon 6: its changelog says the Forza Shards support FH6 with the same live telemetry as Horizon 5, such as speed, gear, RPM and tyre temperatures.
Its pages do not mention streaming. It suits you if you want a physical-feeling touch dash, not an overlay.
Smaller and experimental options
- ApexDash for Stream Dock: a free, MIT-licensed, open-source plugin that shows Forza Data Out values on Stream Dock, Mirabox or AJAZZ device buttons. Its repository is tagged experimental and its README does not separately confirm FH6, so treat it as a hobby tool. Source: its GitHub page.
- ONYX Drive HUD: a community overlay for FH6. The only page found was a file listing on VGTimes, in Russian, posted on 26 May 2026 by its uploader. It says the tool reads Data Out over UDP and needs windowed or borderless mode. No developer page was found, so confirm what you download and where it comes from before running it.
Which one should you pick?
- You play FH6 only and want tune viewing and clips: Wisp.
- You like drag racing: Kanjo Telemetry’s timer is built for it.
- You want a tablet on the desk: 4Sim Telemetry, Apex Copilot, Apex Dash FH & FM or GameGlass.
- You own wheel hardware or a motion rig: SimHub.
- You play several games, stream, or want to design your own HUD: Horizon Labs. If you tune cars in Forza, see Forza Horizon tuning with Tune Architect.
Good to know
- All of these listen to Data Out. Set the IP and port in the game to match the app; the Data Out guide explains the port rules.
- Each game’s own terms still apply. These apps read telemetry the game sends out, and none of this article is a promise about what a publisher will allow.
- Prices and features change. Open the linked pages before you buy.
