Forza Motorsport telemetry HUD overlay
Forza Motorsport and Forza Motorsport 7 publish Data Out like Forza Horizon. Horizon Labs has a profile for each format, including the Dash and Sled variants of Forza Motorsport 7.
Setup
Pick your game in Horizon Labs (Settings → Connection), then switch on its telemetry:
- Forza Motorsport
- Settings → HUD → Data Out: turn it on, IP
127.0.0.1, port5300(or the port set in Horizon Labs). - Forza Motorsport 7
- Settings → HUD → Data Out, Dash format (Sled works too, with fewer fields): IP
127.0.0.1, port5300.
- Port 5300 is the Horizon Labs default for Forza Motorsport. The warning against ports 5200 to 5300 in Forza’s documentation is for Forza Horizon 6. If nothing arrives, set another free port in both the game and Horizon Labs.
- Run the game in borderless windowed mode so the overlay can sit on top.
What the HUD can show
The fields each game sends, as Horizon Labs reads them. The Designer lets you bind any of them to any layer.
