GRID telemetry HUD overlay
GRID Legends and GRID (2019) use the same UDP telemetry switch as DiRT, in the game’s hardware settings file.
Setup
Pick your game in Horizon Labs (Settings → Connection), then switch on its telemetry:
- GRID Legends
hardware_settings_config.xml(in the game’s folder underDocuments\My Games): set<udp enabled="true" extradata="3" port="20777" />.- GRID (2019)
hardware_settings_config.xml(in the game’s folder underDocuments\My Games): set<udp enabled="true" extradata="3" port="20777" />.
- Edit the file with the game closed; it reads the setting on launch.
- Run the game in borderless windowed mode so the overlay can sit on top.
What the HUD can show
The fields each game sends, as Horizon Labs reads them. The Designer lets you bind any of them to any layer.
