BeamNG.drive telemetry HUD overlay
BeamNG.drive outputs OutGauge, a small UDP dashboard protocol. Horizon Labs reads its engine, pedal and dashboard-light data.
Setup
Pick BeamNG.drive in Horizon Labs (Settings → Connection), then switch on its telemetry:
- BeamNG.drive
- Options → Other → Protocols → OutGauge: turn it on, IP
127.0.0.1, port4444.
- OutGauge has no lap times, steering or g-forces, so those HUD widgets stay idle in BeamNG.drive.
- Run the game in borderless windowed mode so the overlay can sit on top.
What the HUD can show
The fields the game sends, as Horizon Labs reads them. The Designer lets you bind any of them to any layer.
