Horizon Labs is a Windows desktop app that draws a live telemetry HUD over your racing game. Version 2.0 adds the **Horizon Labs Designer**, the HUD editor made for Horizon Labs and included with it: start from 104 ready-made HUDs, edit every layer, preview with live UDP telemetry, bind any layer to any telemetry field, build reactive effects, and send the result to Horizon Labs in one click. Designer templates are also available directly in the Horizon Labs layout editor. ### Will I get banned?
Horizon Labs only reads the telemetry each game sends out for dashboards and motion rigs. It does not inject into the game, read its memory, edit its files or change how it plays. Each game’s own terms still apply.

### Which games use the live HUD?

### What is the Horizon Labs Designer?
The HUD editor made for Horizon Labs and included with it. Start from 104 ready-made HUDs, draw with vector shapes, text, images and your own fonts, preview with simulated driving or live telemetry, bind layers to telemetry fields, add reactive effects, then send the HUD to Horizon Labs in one click. Designer HUDs run in the Horizon Labs overlay, and the templates are also available inside the Horizon Labs layout editor.

### How much does it cost?
Pay what you want from €4.99 on Gumroad. It is a one-time purchase: no subscription, and updates are free for life. The Designer is included.

### Does Tune Architect work with F1?
No. Tune Architect is for Forza Horizon only. The F1 profiles provide the live UDP telemetry HUD and overlay.

### Do I need to drive to get a tune?
Depends on the engine. Quick Setup and AI Tuning need zero laps. Bench needs one short pull. Live and Track Tuning learn from how you drive.

### How is this different from free telemetry tools?
Most free tools are HUD-only or single-workflow tuners. Horizon Labs bundles five distinct tuning engines, Motion HUD, music, profiles, and streaming support for OBS, Streamlabs, Meld Studio, and TikTok LIVE Studio in one desktop app.

### Can I use it for streaming?
Yes. Add http://127.0.0.1:8088/overlay/index.html in OBS Studio, Streamlabs, Meld Studio, or TikTok LIVE Studio. LAN mode shows the HUD on a second PC, a tablet or a phone on your network.

### Does it work with Xbox or PlayStation?
Horizon Labs runs on a Windows PC. Console games that export telemetry work too: Forza on Xbox sends Data Out, and the F1 games on PlayStation or Xbox send UDP Telemetry, to that PC over your local network. Gran Turismo 7 and Gran Turismo Sport stream from a PlayStation on the same network: enter the console’s IP address in Horizon Labs.

### Do I copy tunes into Forza manually?
Yes. Horizon Labs calculates and stores setups in Tune Architect for Forza Horizon. You enter the same slider values in Forza yourself. The app does not write to the game.

### What do I need to run it?
Windows 10 or 11 (x64), one supported game, and its telemetry enabled. Forza Horizon uses Data Out on port 20055 by default, Forza Motorsport on port 5300. EA SPORTS F1 23, F1 24, F1 25 and the 2026 Season Pack use UDP Telemetry on port 20777. BeamNG.drive and Live for Speed use OutGauge. DiRT 4 and DiRT Rally 2.0 use UDP telemetry, which you switch on in the game’s hardware_settings_config.xml. Assetto Corsa, Assetto Corsa Competizione, iRacing and RaceRoom use shared memory and need no setup. Le Mans Ultimate, Automobilista 2 and Project CARS use the game’s shared memory once it is switched on in the game’s options; rFactor, rFactor 2, Automobilista, Game Stock Car Extreme and the truck games need a free community plugin. GRID Legends and GRID (2019) use the same UDP switch as DiRT; F1 2020, F1 2021 and F1 22 use UDP Telemetry in their own format. EA SPORTS WRC uses UDP set in its telemetry config.json. Gran Turismo 7 and Gran Turismo Sport stream from a PlayStation on the same network: enter its IP address in Horizon Labs. Works on 16:9, 21:9, and 32:9.

### Which languages does it support?
Horizon Labs and the Designer are available in English and French.
